Social Enterprise UK launched a public facing advertising campaign today to mark one year since the beginning of the Buy Social Corporate Challenge, an initiative encouraging businesses to use their spending power to buy from social enterprises.
The Corporate Challenge is a major campaign led by Social Enterprise UK in partnership with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, and Business in the Community. It will see a group of forward thinking businesses aim to spend £1 billion with the sector by 2020, as they open up their supply chains to the UK’s 70,000 plus social enterprises.
For two weeks, starting the 8th May, campaign posters will be seen at Liverpool Street station, Bank, London Bridge, Kings Cross and Charing Cross, with messages encouraging more businesses to sign up to the challenge and commit to procuring from social enterprises.
Support the initiative by using the hashtag #letsbuysocial and tagging businesses that you would like to see support social enterprise by signing up to the Challenge.
