Auditory Verbal UK is an award-winning national charity that helps babies and young children with permanent hearing loss to listen and talk, without the need for lip reading or sign language. Through Auditory Verbal therapy (AVT), its listening and spoken language specialists coach parents to enable their children to listen, talk and develop the lifelong communication and social skills they need to thrive at school and beyond.

By opening a specialised centre with therapy rooms at CAN Mezzanine, Bermondsey, AVUK has increased its capacity to see more families of deaf children.
