CAN is sponsoring, exhibiting, running speaker sessions and presenting an award at this year’s Fundraising Week, organised by charity publication Third Sector.
Fundraising Week comprises of several events to celebrate the work of fundraising professionals, including the Fundraising Conference and the Business Charity Awards.
In addition to having a stand at the Fundraising Conference, CAN Chief Executive Andrew Croft will lead a workshop on The social enterprise model- where does charity end and business start? and Ben Pearce, Social Business Manager for CAN Invest will run sessions on proving and showcasing your social impact, as well as sitting on a panel to help attendees understand if the social enterprise model is right for their organisation.
CAN Invest will be inviting guests to learn more about its new social impact tool, Muesli.
Two organisations at CAN Mezzanine, Social Investment Business and the Fundraising Regulator will also run speaker sessions at the conference.
The key themes for this year’s Fundraising Conference are:

- Social media strategies and supporter journey
- Video (How do you use video to raise funds)
- The changes to corporates CSR model
CAN Mezzanine, Borough hosted the judging panel for the Business Charity Awards which will take place on Wednesday 23rd May. The ceremony takes place to commend partnerships and innovative projects between businesses and charitable organisations that advocate for community issues.
Carers Trust and RSPB, both with office space at CAN Mezzanine, were shortlisted for awards in the Legal and Community Impact categories respectively.
Gary Phillips, Director, Sales and Marketing at CAN, will present the award for CSR team of the year at the event- Amey Kent Highways, Prudential UK and Yorkshire Building Society were shortlisted.
Fundraising Week takes place Monday 21st May – Friday 25th May.
